
Benjamin Muhamedbegović, Ph.D. is a Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of Food Engineering, having completed his undergraduate (Dipl. Ing.), Master’s (Magistar), and doctoral (Ph.D.) studies at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He has extensive industry and academic experience, having worked as a technologist for the development of new food products at the "Corn flips" factory in Srebrenik from 1997 to 2002, and as the Director for Product Design and Marketing at the "Corni Co" factory in Tuzla from 2002 to 2004. From 2008 to 2018, he served as the Assistant Director at the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to teaching at the university level, he provides expert consulting and training in food packaging design and higher education quality assurance systems.
Demonstrating strong leadership in academic publishing, he has served since 2012 as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Hrana u zdravlju i bolesti (Food in Health and Disease) and since 2010 as the Editor-in-Chief of the With Food to Health symposium proceedings. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings on Beekeeping and Bee Products, a member of the scientific committees for the international "Quality" conference and the Congress on Beekeeping, and an active member of the Association for Quality in BiH and the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek.
