Lasha Margishvili holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from LEPL Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, where he is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in law. As a recipient of a doctoral educational programme grant from the LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, he conducted research at Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom. Mr. Margishvili has extensive experience in quality assurance in higher education. Since 2011, he has held various positions at the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. Since 2012, he has also been actively engaged in teaching as an invited lecturer.

Mr. Margishvili has participated in numerous national and international conferences on quality assurance in higher education, serving as both a speaker and session moderator at several conferences and forums. He is the author of several academic publications. He has been awarded the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Medal, a diploma from the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, and a certificate from the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). Mr. Margishvili currently serves as Acting Director of the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
